The title of the lecture: Safer Cities and Women in Local Governance: Towards an Inclusive Democracy Movement in India

About our guest: Prof. Pamela Singla, Former Head Department of Social Work, Former Warden and Provost, International Students Hostel for Women, University of Delhi Member-at-Large, Board of Directors, International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW)

About the lecture: Analyzes the movement for women’s political participation and its impact on policies for safer, inclusive public spaces. Uses examples from India to explore the connection between women’s empowerment and gender-sensitive urban policies.
