Intercultural Mediation – worthwhile activities
The closing weeks of this semester have offered our Intercultural Mediation students a steady run of worthwhile activities.
The Community and Culture conference connected local engagement, cultural heritage and social policy, core elements of their future practice.
We were pleased to welcome Dr Emmanuel Kihongo and Dr Cresencia Masawe from Dar es Salaam University College of Education, whose sessions on participatory research and intercultural dialogue added a valuable East-African perspective.
Students also joined an anti-discrimination workshop led by the NOMADA Association, sharpening their understanding of inclusion and human-rights challenges.
