Seminar: Farewell to working class?

We warmly invite you to an exciting seminar with Ewan Kerr from Glasgow Caledonian University! Ewan is a post-doc in the ENDURE project and has been collaborating with our team for over a year now. Since our first meeting, we have found numerous fascinating topics for discussion, especially concerning climate issues and how we can (re)conceptualize our thinking about upcoming changes. Ewan’s research focuses on the question of trade unions’ agency in the context of the challenges of the Anthropocene. It turns out that populist chains of equivalence* between the “red” and “green” transformations are possible, but what exactly this means is something we’ll discuss with Ewan during our seminar.

Join us this Monday at 16:40 in Room 119, Institute of Political Science, University of Wrocław. For those interested, Ewan recommends reading the following article: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.geoforum.2017.07.011. (For those without access, feel free to reach out via email: wojciech.ufel@uwr.edu.pl)

We look forward to seeing you there!

*What does this mean exactly? We’ll be explaining it during the seminar!
