Dr. Michele Pigliucci is a Professor of Economic and Political Geography at Link Campus University in Rome. He has been appointed by the Minister for European Affairs, Cohesion Policies, and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), as an expert for the Task Force for the management of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Southern Italy. His research focuses on geopolitics, European energy policy, and regional development, with over 45 publications on these topics.
