International Interdisciplinary Conference: “The Future Is Now. Poland – Ukraine – Europe: New Paradigm”

On 20–22 May 2026, an international interdisciplinary academic conference devoted to current political, social, legal and cultural transformations in Central and Eastern Europe will be held in Wrocław. The conference will address these issues in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and Ukraine’s integration process with the European Union.

The aim of the conference is to create an international platform for dialogue for researchers, experts, representatives of academic communities, local government and civil society who are interested in issues related to the new geopolitical paradigm of the region, the reconstruction of Ukraine, European security, democracy, law, culture, the economy and education. The event will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the future of Polish–Ukrainian and European cooperation in the face of ongoing challenges and integration processes. At the same time, the conference will inaugurate the activities of the Centre for Polish–Ukrainian Cooperation of the University of Wrocław, which was established earlier this year.
