The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development Programme 2021\u20132027 and by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project description:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall purpose of the \u201c(Re)connect with WNS\u201d project is to strengthen the internationalisation of the University by promoting its educational offer, supporting recruitment processes and strengthening relations with graduates who are supposed to play the role of University ambassadors on the international arena.  The specific goals of the project include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– promoting English-language programmes offered at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wroc\u0142aw,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– improving the experience of foreign students at our Faculty,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– developing cooperation with foreign graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will include numerous activities aimed at foreign candidates, students and graduates of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wroc\u0142aw, as well as university staff. The plans include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– conducting an advertising campaign (Google Ads) aimed at foreign candidates for studies;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– creating a virtual assistant for foreign candidates and students. The chatbot tool will be available 24 hours a day and will answer various questions about recruitment, studies, as well as life in Wroc\u0142aw and Poland;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– conducting group and individual English language courses for 30 members of the academic, teaching and administrative staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences, which will increase their language skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– organising a series of six meetings to strengthen relations with graduates and engage them as ambassadors of the University on the international stage. In addition, a formal networking meeting will be organised for foreign graduates and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this is expected to result in an increase in the number of foreign students at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wroc\u0142aw, an improvement in the quality of service and education for foreigners, as well as the promotion of the Faculty and the University on the international arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is led by Dr Mateusz Karolak, the Dean\u2019s Representative for English-language studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
